Ramid py

Page history last edited by Steve Witham 12 years, 7 months ago

Ramid.py is a Python program that composes piano melodies as midi files.  The sound varies  from Sincerely Otherworldly to Seriously Hyperactive,  It's predecessor, PyraQuant, produced this Linus-and-Lucy-like tune.

I came to Hackday to translate the program from C to Python.  It just wasn't working right Sunday afternoon; I went to the Diesel Cafe and got it working that night.  When I got home, Debussy was playing on the radio.

Music, code, and some theory here.

November 2010 I'll be working on the next version, Ramid II.
