Goal:

Create an upcoming concerts listing, specific to the users location, but based off the posting history of a music blog. In essense, highly relevant upcoming concerts.

Details:

• Private API from Hype Machine, courtesy of Anthony Volodkin, for retrieving last 100 artists posted on a music blog.
• Songkick pitted the json data against their concert database, and used the user IP to filter by location.
• JSON-P API provided, allowing blog author to template the resulting markup however they wish.

Result:
